Supporting innovative start-ups to flourish, 10% of Worship Square will provide workspace for local businesses. Emerging businesses and scale-ups can make their home here also book on-demand desks, meeting rooms and flex space, supporting changing needs as they develop.
As part of the Worship Square community, start-ups have access to all amenities, including the communal terrace, fitness studio, ground-floor hub and building app.
Keen to engage with the local community, we have formed a close relationship with Hackney-based youth initiative RISE 365 – a community interest group in Hackney, designed to reach, inspire, support and empower young people and the community. We created 14 paid work placements for RISE 365, tasking the team with introducing a new vending machine to the sire. They conducted market research that informed an enticing and profitable product selection. The team also designed the branding for the machine, and a management plan for keeping it well stocked.
Through our work with RISE 365, we have won the BPIC Network Community Project award – a built environment inclusion business working with industry organisations to improve ethnic minority representation as well as retention.
